The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partner at Sumer, you’ll be at the heart of our growth, helping us find and attract top talent, especially in areas like Audit, Accounting, and Tax. Working from our central hub, you’ll support the Sumer Group to craft and execute smart sourcing strategies. You will service hires across multiple UK and Ireland Offices. You’ll be key in building a strong talent pipeline that fuels our expansion and drives success for our clients.

In this role, you’ll dive into direct sourcing, designing and implementing attraction strategies, and manage relationships with stakeholders. You’ll be involved in every step of the talent acquisition process, from attracting candidates to making offers, making sure the journey is inclusive and best in class for both candidates and hiring managers.

Your key responsibilities may include:

  1. Operating in a group environment, servicing our businesses across UK and Ireland in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including attraction, selection, interview coordination and offer management.
  2. Designing and rolling out new creative ways to find top talent, especially for those tough-to-fill roles.
  3. Pro-actively build and maintain a talent pipeline, using various channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  4. Partnering closely with the business to understand hiring needs and provide market insights to inform recruitment decisions.
  5. Constantly looking for ways to make the TA process smoother, more inclusive, and in line with our hub’s brand.
  6. Leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance sourcing effectiveness, ensure continuous improvement and track recruitment metrics.
  7. Involvement in TA community projects to improve the overall talent acquisition function.

About You

Skills and experience:

  • Direct Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience in sourcing and recruiting talent directly, with minimal reliance on agencies, particularly in hard-to-fill roles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Full Lifecycle Talent Acquisition: Hands-on experience in managing the entire process, from candidate attraction to offer, with a focus on delivering a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
  • Niche Sourcing: Experience in sourcing within the Audit, Accounting, and Tax sectors is highly desirable; alternatively, experience in similarly complex and specialised fields.
  • Process Improvement: Has a knack for spotting areas in the recruitment process that could be better and making those improvements happen.
