Following his Finance MBA, Alistair Aird spent 15 years providing Corporate Finance Lead Advisory services across the Southeast, working in Big Four and Top Ten accountancy practices in Sussex and Kent. His work covered disposals, acquisitions, MBOs and MBIs, valuations, debt and equity raising, typically focusing on deal sizes up to £25m. More recently, he spent 8 years at a large high street bank in their corporate team focused on businesses turning over in excess of £2m.
His role at Carpenter Box as Corporate Finance Director is to work with business owners and managers to help them achieve their strategic corporate goals, whether they are looking to grow or exit, either fully or partially.
Outside the office
Outside of work, Alistair enjoys most sports, particularly playing golf and watching rugby when allowed! He also enjoys cooking and cycling, though it’s fair to say that cooking is currently winning that battle.
