More recently, he spent 8 years at a large high street bank in their corporate team focused on businesses turning over in excess of £2m. His role at Carpenter Box as Corporate Finance Director is to work with business owners and managers to help them achieve their strategic corporate goals, whether they are looking to grow or exit, either fully or partially. Outside the office Outside of work, Alistair enjoys most sports, particularly playing golf and watching rugby when allowed! He also enjoys cooking and cycling, though it’s fair to say that cooking is currently winning that battle.

I specialise in transaction services.

I provide corporate transaction services covering buy and sell side due diligence, business valuations, stock exchange listings and regulatory aspects of fundraising.

The focus of my work is due diligence and financial investigation on behalf of companies looking to make acquisitions or preparing themselves for sale or potential investment.

For those companies that wish to raise capital by issuing shares to investors and listing on AIM or Aquis, I and the rest of the team will act as reporting accountants, providing audit and financial due diligence services as well as reporting on financial forecasts.

I, along with our Transaction Services team, have extensive experience in the valuation of businesses, whether it be for fundraising, tax or dispute resolution purposes.

With the ever-increasing regulatory environment, more recently I have been heavily involved in advising and managing internal and client compliance obligations.

I have more than 25 years’ experience as an accountant and joined HW Fisher in 1997. I have been a partner since 2010.
