The investment unlocks new opportunities with SMEs and entrepreneurs throughout the UK
Sumer, the UK’s leading mid-market accountancy practice for SMEs continues its investment journey, with the merger of audit and advisory firm, HW Fisher, based in London.
This is a landmark deal for Sumer, welcoming a Top 30 accounting practice into the group.
HW Fisher’s 300-strong team provides expert accountancy, audit, tax, corporate and advisory services to entrepreneurs, high growth SMEs, corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
As well as supporting Sumer’s core client base, the merger enables Sumer to expand it’s service offering. HW Fisher has significant expertise in supporting larger clients, in specialist areas such as royalty audit services, family offices, the not-for-profit sector, entertainment, media and sports organisations.
Warren Mead, CEO of Sumer said:
“We have big aspirations for HW Fisher, supported by a shared ambition to grow. The team stood out for their seamless collaboration and quality client service. Welcoming HW Fisher enables us to extend our support to larger privately owned clients and family offices.”
Andrew Rich, Managing Partner at HW Fisher added:
“As a close-knit firm running for nearly a century, our ethos has always been about giving personable advice and trusted expertise. We’ve always been ambitious and Sumer matches our mindset and will help us realise our vision.”
